Women of FAITH Conference Coming Up...SIGN UP NOW!~By Melissa Skinner
I am so excited about this year's Women of Faith conference that will be held on October 14th and 15th at Arco Arena in Sacramento! This year's theme is "Over the Top" which perfectly describes God's love for us! The speakers "Women of Faith" has lined up for us are also over the top - Patsy Clairmont, Marilyn Meberg, Sandi Patty, Lisa Whelchel ("Blair" from "Facts of Life" show), Comedian Nicole Johnson, motivational speaker Andy Andrews and musicians Mandisa and Selah. ....
Like you, I felt "I don't have time to go on this retreat...we don't have the money...who will watch the kids...." before I left for my first and subsequent WOF events. However, as a woman, wife and mother, I feel it is critical that we take this time to fill our tanks with God's word and His messages which are beautifully conveyed by these dynamic speakers. And be prepared - we had a saying when I worked for Tony Robbins - "the reason you think you are at this event, may not be the REAL reason you are here." God just might have another reason to have you sitting in that arena. I hope and pray you will give yourself this gift. You won't regret it.
The ticket price for the conference is $89. All payments are due by August 1st. Our group only has 50 tickets and 25 have already been purchased! They will go on a first come first serve basis.
I have confirmed a block of rooms with a wonderful hotel, Springhill Suites. Their spacious suites offer two double beds and a sleeper sofa so we can actually sleep up to 5 to a room to keep costs down if you prefer. The hotel also offers a FULL yummy breakfast. The nightly rate is $109 ($123 with tax) and again you can have up to 5 ladies per room. (fyi - 3 ladies to a room would equal $41/night including tax) Obviously, the more ladies/room then the lower the cost.
Please let me know ASAP if you even think you'll be needing a room for both nights or just Friday night, that way I can be sure to have enough rooms tentatively reserved. Payment for the hotel is not due until time of checkout.
Please spread the word to your family and friends! Our group is not limited to attendees from one particular church - this is a WOMEN'S event from anywhere and everywhere!!!
