PLAY BALL! Free Family Night at San Andreas Covenant Church this Summer!
San Andreas Community Covenant Church and Grace Hills Bible Church of Angels Camp will sponsor a Family Night for all ages starting June 16. The program, called Major League Bible, will feature a baseball themed skit, baseball games and activities around the study of the Major and Minor Prophets. Each week, the audience will be entertained by a four man skit entitled “Bible Tonight” and will feature guest appearances by baseball enthusiasts and actors representing each prophet. all ages, including nursery care. Parents will have the opportunity to quiz both pastors during a Q&A session in the coffee house during the final hour while their children participate in a variety of activities. The final meeting will feature a family barbecue and softball tournament for each age group.
“We are thrilled to bring this creative and active program to our community and want to be sure to communicate that this night is open to all families, regardless of church background. Everyone should be prepared to laugh, learn, and limp home after a good game of ball!” quipped Pastor Dusty Bach, one of the sponsoring pastors.
Family nights will be held for 6 consecutive week each Thursday night from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at San Andreas Community Covenant Church at 261 Treat Avenue, San Andreas. For more information, contact Dannette at the church office 209-754-3881.
