Santa Clara Vanguard Hosts Community Performance Saturday Night~by Patrick Works
Bret Harte High School, Angels Camp, CA....Today and early this evening were nearly the last practice sessions for the Santa Clara Vanguard.The Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps is a world-renowned, world champion drum and bugle corps that travels between six and eight weeks each summer throughout the United States and Canada performing in competitive field shows and parades. The Vanguard provides instruction for the experienced through the advanced member in the areas of brass, percussion and color guard.....

If you have not heard, they've taken over Bret Harte High School for the last week for practice, in preparation for their next tour. Saturday the 11th from 8PM to 9PM you'll have a chance to see them live and in full regalia at Bret Harte High in Angels Camp.
This group literally draws talent from around the world. Vanguard leadership represents some of the most renowned music programs throughout the United States.
Bring the family...you won't see anything like this any time soon. No parade coverage on television can match the drama live, and so close up.
