Murphys, CA....If you have ever tried Melanie's creations, you know she has a gift... a gift of putting together the most unique and delicious flavors that always taste great with our wines. Now Melanie is sharing her gift in The Kitchen at Newsome-Harlow, a ground-to-table inspired eatery that uses local, sustainable ingredients that pair perfectly with NH Vino. “When I try one of Scott's wines for the first time, I close my eyes . . . and then smell and then taste,” Melanie said. “My mind is flooded with flavors that would be a perfect match and then I begin to concoct a recipe in my head.”....

For now, those recipes include twists on lunchtime (and childhood) “food for your soul” favorites, like sandwiches and salads. The Ulti-Melt Grilled Cheese features farmhouse sliced bread layered with aged cheddar and teleme cheeses, fresh tomato, bacon, horseradish aioli and fresh basil. The Truffle Caesar comes with lemony Caesar dressing and truffle parmesan cheese.
The Kitchen, adjacent to our Tasting Lounge, has indoor and outdoor seating in our Courtyard, and is currently open for lunches from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (dark Wednesdays). We will open for dinner in mid-June.

The Cuban - uncured smoked ham, house roasted pork loin, pickles, coarse ground mustard, swiss and fresh basil on a classic cuban roll. 8
Cracked-Pepper Sirloin - gorgonzola aioli, caramelized slaw and chimichurri on our soul made roll. 9
