Jessica Conley Crowned Calaveras Saddle Queen 2011 Today!~by Patrick Works

Frogtown, USA.....The first big question for this year's Frog Jump was answered just minutes ago as the annual Saddle Queen competition was concluded. Ashley Gilmore, Jessica Conley, Melayna Campbell, Holly Zeller, Natalie Harp, and Samantha Cobb have all worked diligently over the last few months to prepare themselves for today. It's not just a beauty pageant on horseback...these young women had to work hard to prove that they not only could be poised and friendly on the back of a horse, but also that they could control that horse and make it really perform. So they did.....

Enjoy Many Photos Above~by Patrick Works

After equitation competition, barrel racing, and a number of other riding events were concluded, the judges put their heads together, the scorekeepers put their pens to paper, and the winner is JESSICA CONLEY!

Jessica is from Valley Springs, attends Calaveras High School. Her proud parents are Randy and Lori Conley. Her sister Rebecca is very proud we're sure, but possibly her biggest fan is her young cousin Ryan...who just loved the frog on her new sash.
