$650,000 in Damages Occur in Sonora Structure Fire

Sonora, CA....A structure fire occurred on May 9th at the 18000 Block of Vista Drive in Mill Villa Manor in Sonora. Red Cross was notified for one displaced adult female. Major fire damage to the 2000 square foot structure occurred with an estimated $650,000.00 in damages for structure and contents. Cause is under investigation. Multiple crews responded to the incident. CAL Fire report enclosed....

ONE FIREFIGHTER SUSTAINED FIRST AND SECOND DEGREE BURNS. FIREFIGHTER WAS TREATED AND RELEASED FROM SONORA REGIONAL.

A 2,000 SQUARE FOOT RESIDENTIAL STRUCUTRE SUSTAINED MAJOR FIRE DAMAGE. ESTIMATED DOLLAR DAMAGE IS REPORTED AT $650,000 FOR THE STRCUTRE AND CONTENTS

INCIDENT CLOSED ON MAY 10, 2011 AT 0600

Miscellaneous (pets rescued, traffic diverted, crowd problems, etc.)

RED CROSS WAS NOTIFIED TO HELP WITH A DISPLACED ADULT FEMALE, PG&E WAS ALSO NOTIFIED
