Fun Events Planned at the Spring Calaveras County Demonstration Garden!
San Andreas, CA....The Calaveras County Demonstration Garden has some great Spring Events planned this month. First event is April 23, Saturday, Open Garden Day from 10-2 pm, Irrigation 101 demonstration at 10:30am, Sheet Composting demonstration at 11:30am. No plant sale today. April 29th, Friday, 3-6 pm Spring Plant Sale. We will have a large selection of plants that thrive in the foothills, including many water wise specimens. Some of the plants available include Heirloom veggies, strawberries, natives, Rose of Sharon, hardy succulents, small Japanese maples and Naked Lady bulbs.....
April 30, Saturday, 9:30 - 12:30 pm Spring Plant Sale
Where: 891 Mountain Ranch Rd., San Andreas
What you can expect: Master Gardeners from Calaveras County will be available to answer your home gardening questions. Come walk the garden, and chat informally with others who like togarden. Pick up some quick tips, new ideas, and ask questions.
