Awards in the 14th Annual High School Art Show.... ArtSpirit 2011– Calaveras County Arts Council
Following a call for artists in the Calaveras County Arts Council’s 14th annual ArtSpirit Show, 180 high school students from four high schools entered a total of 257 works in 11 categories. Cash awards of $10 for First Prize, $5 for Second Prize, and Third Place ribbons were given in each category. Additionally, a $20 Popular Choice Award will be presented after the Saturday, April 23 closing of the exhibit. The public is invited to visit the show located in Gallery Calaveras at 22 Main Street in San Andreas. Here are the results....

The ArtSpirit exhibit continues in the Gallery of the Calaveras County Arts Council until April 23. A few of the artworks are for sale with all monies going to directly to the student artists.
