Bear Valley Snow Report for February 11, 2011

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! Light winds out of the ENE will happen today as the first sign of a change in weather rolls over northern California. Forecast models indicate a subtropical moisture tap to bring snow to the region late Monday night/early Tuesday morning. Depending on the dew point and 700mb temps the snow level should start at around 6000ft or so. Some of the Grizz Bowl gates will remain closed through out the week, due to firm/icy conditions. The Snow Valley gate will be open today and will have some great groomed riding! Ask Patrol about gate openings/closures. Spring conditions are abundant on the village side of the Ski Area. The avalanche advisory low, check the forecast at sierraavalanchecenter.org for more on that and ride safe and responsible!!! Peace Out, Mattly
