Bear Valley Cross Country Sponsoring "Snow Down" for Habitat Coming Up on April 2nd!
Bear Valley, CA....Habitat for Humanity Calaveras and Bear Valley Cross County are sponsoring Snow Down for Habitat, a fundraiser to help build houses for people in need in Calaveras County. Whether you are an expert cross country skier or a novice, or you prefer to snowshoe, mark Saturday, April 2 on your calendar. There will be trails of varying difficulty and length with stops along the way for treats and a Habitat scavenger hunt. ...
Registration is from 9 to 10 am. with lunch from 12:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sky High Pizza and Pub in the Bear Valley Village Center. Lunch includes all you can eat pizza and salad.
Ticket prices are $50 for adults and $40 for children 12 and under. Price includes equipment rental, trail pass for the day and lunch. There is a discount of $10 if you bring your own skis or snowshoes. The event includes entertainment and a raffle.
Paul Petersen, owner of Bear Valley Cross Country will offer a free mini-clinic on cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
