UPDATE 1/29/11: Horses Are Being Rescued Now by Sheriffs Office

Copperopolis, CA....UPDATE 1/29/11 10:30am: Sheriff's Office is picking up horses now. Update 4:30pm: According to Darren Spellman, Sheriffs Office is delivering a warrant to the home tomorrow morning. Update 2:57pm: Have spoken with Sheriff Gary Kuntz. He promises to have this issue resolved by 5pm today. Update 2pm: We are awaiting a call back from the Sheriff's office as to the status of this. According to Darren Spellman, the owners were given until Monday to cooperate. "Re-Horse Rescue in Tuolumne County has offered to take them all, at least temporarily until they are physically stable again. They will need medical care in addition to just food. They are beyond just being hungry and muddy. At this moment Captain Murray from the Sheriff's office is obtaining a warrant from a county judge to seize ....
