Calaveras Humane Society Thrift Store Gets Rave Reviews!
People from all over Northern Cal. just love the CHS Thrift Store in Arnold! “This is a terrific thrift store! I'm so glad it came to Arnold…the prices are very reasonable and the products are nice quality. I've purchased several nice items of women's clothing at very cheap prices” says Kathleen M. from Stockton. .....
Thrift Store Interior
Jenn C. from Oakland writes, “It has been my experience that thrift stores in rural areas often offer the best deals and Calaveras Humane Society is no exception….. Things are always orderly and tidy and the quality of donated goods is quite high - and the pricing is quite reasonable. …The cherry on this sundae, however, is that you get to visit some fabulous felines while you are in the store - they have some large cages and bring in fostered animals to hang out for the day with the volunteers who welcome visitors to pet and play with the animals.”

We are thrilled with our generous donors that keep supplying us with incredibly wonderful clothing, shoes, household items, books and collectibles that we put out at prices you won’t believe. And plan on visiting us over the Thanksgiving Holiday for some extra special treasures! (Can you say “Jewelry??”)
We are located in the Meadowmont Center in Arnold between Big Trees Market and Round Table Pizza. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 10AM until 5PM. Donations are gladly accepted Tuesday through Sunday from 10AM until 4PM.
All profits from the thrift store go to the Calaveras Humane Society's general fund to support the many CHS programs that provide assistance to animals in need. These programs include spay/neuter vouchers, cat and dog foster homes, and medical assistance. So when you visit the thrift store, you are not only finding great merchandise at fantastic prices, but you are also helping us save animals and improve their lives.
