Recipients of this year’s Values in Action include Suzanne Dietrich for Dignity – Respecting the inherent value and worth of each person; Nicki Stevens for Collaboration – Working together with people who support common values and vision to achieve shared goals; Ruth Huffman for Justice – Advocating for social change and acting in ways that promote respect for all persons and demonstrate compassion for our sisters and brothers who are powerless; and Denise Meyer for Excellence – Exceeding expectations through teamwork and innovation.
The overall Values in Action Award recipient for exhibiting all five values is Gene Schmollinger – Promoting effective use of resources, building teamwork, fostering an environment of hospitality and trust, promoting fairness and justice and implementing the connections between personal goals and behaviors and the organization’s Mission and Values.
“We are so proud of all our employees, especially these recipients of the Values in Action Award” said hospital president Feliciano Jiron. “Each of them contributes to the organization through their personal commitment of time and energy and perceived by their peers as leaders who model the Values of our organization.”
In the coming weeks, each of these award recipients will be recognized for their accomplishments at an Awards Dinner held off campus.
