School Bus Mechanical Failure Causes Vegetation Fire on Monday Afternoon
Mokelumne Hill, CA...On Monday afternoon multiple fire personnel responded to what was thought to be a school bus on fire. After crews arrived on scene, CAL Fire states that a Calaveras USD school bus was having mechanical failure and it caused a 3 1/4 acre vegetation fire only at Hwy 26 and Robinson Ranch. 40 students were evacuated safely by the school bus driver.
