In Loving Memory of Esther Aughinbaugh 1916~2010
Long time Fremont resident, Esther Margaret Aughinbaugh, died peacefully of natural causes at her home in Lindale, Texas on October 10, 2010 at the age of 94. Mrs. Aughinbaugh was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Aughinbaugh, and her son, Gary R. Aughinbaugh. She is survived by her son, David M. Aughinbaugh of Fremont, Ca. and her daughter, Joyce L. Wisdom of Lindale, Texas. She left behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who all loved her dearly.....
Mrs. Aughinbaugh loved God, her family, and nature. She often commented that her most precious memories were the times she spent at their family cabin in Camp Connell, CA. Her love of the mountains was a legacy she passed on to her family who continue to make family memories in Camp Connell and the surrounding area. Mrs. Aughinbaugh was a very creative and artistic person who made crafts and enjoyed sewing. She also enjoyed playing bingo and loved listening to beautiful music.
Mrs. Aughinbaugh was known as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest attributes were her ability to always see the good in others and her ability to empathize and encourage everyone she loved. She will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest peacefully, your loving family.
A private family memorial will take place in the near future.
Her family respectfully requests that a gift in Esther’s memory be given to:
