Harvest Happenings at First Congregational Church of Murphys
Murphys, CA....Let the Pumpkin Parade Begin! Bring a pumpkin to carve or decorate on Thursday, October 7 at 12 noon. Watch a demonstration from “the pumpkin man.” Hot dogs, chili and dessert will be served for lunch. Women’s Fellowship business meeting is at 11 a.m. First Congregational Church of Murphys, 496 Church St. (corner of Church and Algiers St.) For more information and to RSVP, call 728-3141 or email nugget@fccmurph.org....
Harvest Festival Dinner and Silent Auction – Saturday, October 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. $15/adult or $25/couple, $5/child under 12. Dinner is served 5-6:30 p.m. and will include turkey with all the fixings, mostly all from local ingredients. The evening includes entertainment and pumpkin decorating. This event is a fundraiser for the Christian Education Board of First Congregational Church of Murphys, 496 Church St. (corner of Church and Algiers St.) For more information and to purchase tickets, call 728-3141 or email nugget@fccmurph.org.
