Delta College English Class Offered at Calaveras High School
Local residents will have the opportunity to take a college class this Spring on the Calaveras High School Campus. San Joaquin Delta College will offer an English 1A class starting January 18, 2011, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm in Room 46 at Calaveras High School. This class is open to local high school students and current Delta students. ...
Continuing Delta students need only enroll in the class during their regular registration period this November. Course number will be posted on the Delta website.
High School students need to fill out the Delta Early Start application and have it signed by a high school administrator. An assessment for language arts is also required unless a student has successfully passed the EAP for language arts in their 11th grade STAR testing.
Calaveras High School students can get help with the Delta College enrollment process by contacting Terri Tanner in the CHS Career Center (phone: 209-754-1811 ext. 5313). An enrollment workshop will take place for CHS students during the week of October 26th. On-line registration will be assigned by Delta after completion of an assessment or proof of EAP test result.
