JODI JEANNE JACKSON March 21, 1968 – September 13, 2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jodi Jeanne Jackson.
Jodi was born in Long Beach, California, on March 21, 1968. She grew up in River Pines, California and graduated from Independent High School in Amador County. She later lived in Fair Oaks and Folsom, California, with her son Zachary Cavagnaro-Jackson while taking care of people with every kind of disability imagined. The last place she lived while working with the disabled was in Stockton, California, before being forced to retire because of being ......
diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She had a restless soul which also took her on the road for two years driving big rig trucks across the country. Recently, she moved to San Andreas from Ione, California. She made her presence known everywhere she went with her kind and boisterous personality.
Jodi loved life and worshiped her family and many friends. Music was her passion in life and the “Blues” set her soul free. She never hesitated to help someone in need. She was so kind and caring. No one was a stranger to her, everyone was a friend. She will always remain in our hearts.
She leaves behind the love and joy of her life, her son Zachary Cavagnaro-Jackson of Ione, her beloved father and mother Gene and Catherine Jackson of San Andreas, a brother and sister-in-law Bryan and Annnette Jackson of San Jose, a nephew Bobby, a niece Katie, and her kindred soul and forever friend Angie Raper with daughter Christine and Dennis Deatrick of Ione.
There will be a gathering to celebrate her life on Friday, Sept. 17, 2009 from 5:00PM to 6:PM at San Andreas Memorial Chapel.
She will be missed by her family and friends. Donations can be made to the Muscular Sclerosis Foundation.
