Umpqua Bank donates to Calaveras Community Foundation... Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) recently received a donation of $2,000 from Umpqua Bank.
Calaveras County, CA....Christy Maynard, Umpqua Bank Commercial Relationship Manager, states, “Community is at the center of all we do at Umpqua Bank, therefore we are proud to make a contribution of $2,000 to CCF. We know this will promote wellness and stability in our Calaveras County communities, specifically in regards to youth development, education and the arts.” Umpqua has branches in Copperopolis, Angels Camp, Valley Springs and San Andreas....

CCF is currently celebrating its tenth year of serving as the largest general purpose charitable organization in Calaveras County that provides a foundation fostering the success of community-based grassroots groups and activities. Financial supporters like Umpqua Bank have made it possible for the Foundation to distribute nearly $250,000
in grants and scholarships since 2001.
CCF’s annual grant cycle has just ended. Grant applications are now being reviewed and announcements of the recipients will take place shortly. In the past few years,
monies awarded have touched many lives in Calaveras County.
Past awardees provide varied services like activities for handicapped adults; youth mentoring and adult tutoring; nutrition programs for seniors; health screenings for women; music programs in area schools; and technology for libraries and literacy centers.
