Jerry Yates Memorial - The Marines Have Landed ~By Shaelyn Stratton
Mountain Ranch, CA... The Marines are arriving in force at Mountain Ranch to honor one of their own. The life of Jerry Yates, a Marine Vietnam veteran, founder of the Central Valley Chapter of the Marine Corps Motorcycle Club, and valued member of the Mountain Ranch community, will be honored tomorrow (Sunday) at 3:00 pm at the Mountain Ranch Cemetery, with full military honors, taps, and a 21-gun salute. Fellow marines and members of the CV Chapter of the MC Motorcycle Club, as well as those from other parts of the state and the nation, started arriving in Mountain Ranch early Saturday morning....

There will be a potluck after the funeral ceremony to celebrate Jerry's life and memory. All who knew and loved Jerry or wish to support his family in this time of mourning are welcome.
