Fall 2010 EPSYL Approaching Fast....In Need of Coaches!!
The Fall 2010 soccer season is fast approaching ! The EPYSL board met last night and formed our 2010 fall recreational teams. We anticipate a great playing season this fall ! This season we have 9 - U6 teams, 10 - U8 Teams, 9 - U10 Teams, 6 - U13 teams and 2 - U16 teams. All teams will be coed this season with the exception of the 6 - U13 teams. However, at this time, we have only 22 coaches for our 36 teams. We need the following 14 coaching positions filled....

Coaches: Please join us Tuesday, August 10th at Murphys Suites for our annual fall season coaches meeting.
This is a mandatory meeting for all coaches where each coach will receive a coaches information packet, uniforms, team roster and equipment bag as well as review the league safety plan and discuss practice schedules and locations. Following this meeting, coaches are free to begin practicing in preparation for opening day, Saturday, August 21. Our Area Coordinators will be handling the practice schedules and locations this year. If you'd like to set your practice schedule in advance of the coaches meeting please contact:

This year EPYSL will be introducing Live Scan fingerprinting for all coaches, assistant coaches, etc. Live Scans will take place on August 28, the same day as photo day, and will be mandatory for all team officials.
Due to very late enrollment for players this season, we anticiapte a delay in the delivery of uiforms. We will have a limited number of uniforms available at the coaches meeting with the remainder to arrive just prior to opening day. We will keep you updated on uniforms as we know more.
Sponsor a Team For 2010 Season
With the beginning of a new season, EPYSL is now accepting requests for team sponsorships. Last year's sponsors have the "right of first refusal", but a limited number of sponsorships are available. If you would like to sponsor a youth soccer team this coming season, simply complete a sponsor form/invoice, which is available for download below.
To sponsor an EPYSL team, we request a minimum donation of $200, the first year, then $165 thereafter. The League will use your donation to offset such costs as player uniforms, insurance, Feeney Park field fees, referee training and pay, and field equipment. Team sponsorship has helped to balance EPYSL revenues and expenditures while holding registration fees steady. Although our cost to "put a player on the field" exceeded $75 per player last season, EPYSL is able to keep annual player registration fees at only $60 in part because of the generosity of local businesses.
Besides the satisfaction that comes from contributing to a better community (and getting another tax deduction), your sponsorship brings a little name recognition to your Company. With your sponsorship, EPYSL displays a team banner with your Company's name and logo at every game and your Company is prominently displayed on our website at www.EPYSL.org . Furthermore, your continued sponsorship will help to keep our registration fees at their current rate. This is most appreciated by our soccer parents and allows for a continued high level of participation.
