FIRE NEWS....Vegetation Fire at Hwy 49 and Moccasin Creek
Tuolumne County, CA...Multiple Crews along with all Columbia Aircraft are responding to a vegetation fire at Hwy 49 and Moccasin Creek. Update 12:32pm, 4 acres of grass is burning with moderate rate of spread. Air attack on scene. Update 12:52pm, Additional Units are being called in to assist. Updates to follow...Update as of 1:11pm...Just spoke with Captain Davis from CAL-FIRE it is still in the 4-5 acre range and they are starting to slow forward progress. Update 1:59pm, Fire at 5-10 acres according to Lisa Williams. Crews are making good progress. No containment as of yet. Contained. Great job crews.
