Final 2010 Passport Weekend Along with Taste The World of Calaveras Are Here!
The Calaveras Winegrape Alliance invites you to join us for a ton of fun, fabulous foods and award winning Calaveras wines for the 3rd and final weekend of our 2010 Passport Days. The first and second weekends were a fantastic success and we are excited about the finale weekend. Ten CWA member wineries poured special barrel samples and made some really top-notch food to pair with them. All member wineries will be open again with special offers and many will repeat their food and wine pairings....

CWA will also celebrate the final Passport Days weekend on Friday Night June 25th with the annual Taste the World of Calaveras in Murphys Community Park. Join us for this warm summer eve and meet the Calaveras Families that are making some of the most exciting new wines in California's historic Sierra Foothills Region.

Taste the World of Calaveras - June 25th - 6:00pm to 8:30pm
"The final 2010 Passport Weekend comes to life starting this Friday with the so-international “Taste the World of Calaveras” in iconic Murphys Community Park from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
You enter the world of Calaveras with wine varietals from five regions – California, France Majorie, Italy, Rhone and Spain - with perfectly paired foods: Hatcher Winery’s traditional California Barbecue with California varietals, Murphys Historic Hotel cuisine with France Majoris wine, Sarafina’s Meatballs/Caprizi with Italian reds, Wren Café and Catering offerings with Rhone varietals, and Camp’s Fire Cracker Salmon paired with Spanish wines.
