Junior Miss Calaveras Crowned, Jr. Frog Jump Winners Announced
Altaville, CA....The Junior Miss Calaveras Pageant and Junior Frog Jump were held concurrently on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Altaville Melones Fire District station in Angels Camp. The Junior Miss Calaveras Queen and her court are as follows...
QUEEN: Marita Elliott of San Andreas
1st Princess: Leslie Ann Johnson of Copperopolis
2nd Princess: Amy Chraft of Copperopolis
Marita attends Christian Family Learning Center, and Leslie and Amy both attend Mark Twain Elementary School.
The Junior Miss Calaveras competition was open to all county eight grade girls. The queen and her court will appear in the upcoming Frog jump parade on Thursday, May 13 and the Jr. Queen will be presented at the Calaveras county fair.
