White Pines Resident, "William "Bill" Henderson" Passed Away at the Age of 80

White Pines, CA....Longtime White Pines resident, William "Bill" Henderson, passed away on March 26, 2010. He was 80 years old. Bill was a retired Building Inspector. He was also a WWII, Korea and Vietnam Vet. A life member of VFW North Pole, AK, Arnold Moose Lodge, Loyal Order of Elks, American POW Association, A life member of NRA and Member of Susies Diner Coffee Club in Arnold. He was also an avid fly fisherman. Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Charlotte Armstrong-Henderson of White Pines; Children, Brett E. Henderson of Fairbanks, AK, Wade F. Henderson of Moose Creek, AK, Linda S. Morrison of Anchorage, AK, Rhonda Saul of Sheep Ranch, CA and Elizabeth Portscheller of Woodbridge, CA.; His grandson and fishing buddy, David Portscheller, another grandson, John Portscheller and granddaughter, Candace Collum. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren in Alaska. ...

Bill was preceded in death by his son, Michael Henderson.


A Memorial Service is planned for April 10th at the Arnold Moose Lodge.
