Calaveras Passport Days are here...April 17-18, 2010 - May 22-23, 2010 and June 26-27, 2010.

Calaveras County, CA.....The Calaveras Winegrape Alliance announces the first time sales of Passports for individual weekends! The member wineries of the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance (CWA) invite you to join them on the following dates for a ton of fun, fabulous foods, and of course award winning Calaveras wine! In addition, on each weekend, participating member wineries will be featuring barrel tastings, new releases and special discounts and offers just for Passport holders!....

The unique multi weekend event is an ideal way for new area visitors to become familiar with Calaveras County wines as each winery showcases their unique personalities and award winning wines.

Participants are issued a commemorative glass and a “Passport” that is stamped at each of the wineries visited on any of the Passport Days weekends, and if completed, entered in drawings for some fun prizes

Join us on all 3 weekends or just for one!

April 17-18, 2010 - May 22-23, 2010 and June 26-27, 2010.

On April 17th and May 22nd, 2010, select member wineries will provide gourmet foods, entertainment, special winery discounts and of course award winning Calaveras wines!

Participating member wineries on April 17th

Beaux Chevaux Winery, Bodega del Sur Winery, Brice Station Winery; Broll Mountain Vineyards, Chiarella Winery, Lavender Ridge Vineyard, Milliaire Winery, Muir’s Legacy Vineyards, Newsome-Harlow Wines, Renner Winery and Stevenot Wines

Participating member wineries on May 22nd Black Sheep Winery, Chatom Vineyards, Frog’s Tooth Vineyards, Hatcher Winery, Ironstone Vineyards, Laraine Winery, Solomon Wine Company, Tanner Vineyards, Twisted Oak Winery, Val du Vino Winery and Vina Moda Winery.

On June 26, 2010, many of our wineries plan to continue the Passport celebration by offering wonderful foods, wine, discounts and even some entertainment!

Taste the World of Calaveras is a stand alone event and will take place on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Murphys Community Park. From 6:00pm to 8:30pm, attendees will have the opportunity to taste wines made from grapes with origins from five different regions of the world, and each region will showcase corresponding cuisine.

All participants must be 21 years or older, designated drivers are encouraged and will receive complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.
