2010 KINDNESS WEEK ACTIVITIES
RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS begins Monday February 15 through the 19th.

3. Thursday = Caught You Being Kind Day. During lunch smiley stickers will be shared and passed around when people are being kind to the earth, each other, etc.

4. Friday = Have people turn in their ribbons so that they will be displayed the following week (hopefully in our new multipurpose room), showing how kind our campus is!

5. Friday during POND about thirty students will be receiving I WILL training and be taking a pledge to uphold the principles on campus after Kindness Week is over.

Those pledges will also be displayed (hopefully in our new multipurpose room)

Kindness Week 2010 Activities
Christian Family Learning Center (CFLC) is thrilled to participate in Random Acts of Kindness Week in February. During kindness week, the junior high students will be reading to the local preschoolers. In addition, the 5th and 6th graders will be sorting the recycling at our school site and the 3rd and 4th grade students will be passing out ribbons with friendly smiles to the local businesses. Our kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders will participate by singing songs and poems to Foothill Village and Senior Centers.
As a school, CFLC will be bringing kindness to the community of Angels Camp by donating to the Calaveras County Food Bank, and making cash donations from the Student Council recycling funds.
Considering the diversity of counties that CFLC bring together, students will also be bridging the gap and educating people in their home churches about the purpose and the domino effect that random acts of kindness can bring to their communities.
