BREAKING NEWS....25th District Assembly Race Heats Up! Angels Camp's George Fry Enters the Fray
Angels Camp, CA...We were informed by George Fry this morning that he plans to run for 25th District Assembly Seat. Yesterday, Tuolumne County's, Teri Murrison also announced she will be seeking the seat. Terri is a District 3 Supervisor for Tuolumne County. George Fry just finished up his campaign in the Angels Camp Council race. We are awaiting a formal press release from Fry's campaign.....

Two other contenders seeking this seat are current Modesto City Councilwoman, Kristin Olsen which was announced on Monday setting up a June Republican primary with former Modesto Councilwoman Janice Keating.
These four are competing for the seat opened by Republican Tom Berryhill's decision to run for the state Senate.
This should be very interesting as Jeff Denham announced he would be a candidate for California's Lieutenant Governor in 2010 but dropped those plans when Governor Schwarzenegger appointed Republican State Senator Abel Maldonado to fill the vacancy left by former Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi's election to Congress. Denham subsequently considered a run for State Assembly but dropped those plans as well when he was persuaded by retiring Republican Congressman George Radonovich to run for his open seat in 2010.
