Sandra-Loree Hilderman, Artist, Has Passed Away

Sandra-Loreen Hilderman, Artist, Born 6-1-1946, Died 11-12-2009, Cause of death- Cancer. Sandy grew up in Stockton. She met her husband Rick in high school and they married 3-27-1966. They had two daughters, Alicia and Sally both of whom died of cystic fibrosis. Sandy was an artist in many media, but her passion was oil painting. She had a private studio in Jackson for a number of years. Recently, she had been able to enjoy her own studio built on their property. She quickly filled her new studio with her works and collectibles....

Sandy recently became aware of her biological father whom she had never met. He passed away before her mother had told Sandy of his existence. She was overjoyed to connect with her Irish family on the East Coast.

Most importantly, Sandy never met a stranger. She touched everyone she met and all who knew her enjoyed her free spirit and caring ways. A celebration of her life will be held on 11-27-2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mokelumne Hill town hall. Please RSVP by calling Rick before 11-24-2009.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Amador and Calaveras, P.O. Box 595, Jackson Ca. 95642 or Calaveras Human Society,

P.O. Box 177, Vallicito, Ca. 95251.
