2nd Annual Economic Summit to Be Held on October 15th
On behalf of the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce, the County of Calaveras and the City of Angels, I would like to invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Calaveras County Economic Summit. This Summit is the result of an effort from many individuals working together with a common goal of achieving a brighter future of economic diversity for Calaveras County. The Summit will be held at Calaveras High School in San Andreas from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2009. .....
The format will include speakers discussing key issues concerning our local economy as well as a presentation of the findings for the County’s Economic Element, an element of the General Plan.
The breakout sessions in the areas of Tourism, Agriculture, Retail, Manufacturing, Services, and Construction and Development will develop a strong action team with a list of action items that will be pursued and reported on at the Economic Summit III early next year. You will find the Agenda attached.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for those businesses that want to display information on a table in the common area. Each table will cost $100.00 and there are only a few tables available so please make your reservation soon.
Lunch will be provided for all of those that attend. The cost to attend the Summit will be only $25.00 but reservations are required. Please contact the Chamber office to make your reservation.
