Dear Community Member,
We are very pleased to present our 2nd annual full-page picture of what we have accomplished in the past fiscal year. We were once again amazed by the volume and quality of these activities!
Providing the best health care available is our mission, so we established a goal that our patients will want to return for their future health care needs, and they would recommend us to family and friends. This goal starts with our employees, so we invested successfully in recruitment, retention, and development. They truly live their lives on purpose! We remind ourselves daily about patient care and safety and our focus has seen positive results in Patient Satisfaction, Medication Safety, Surgical Infection Prevention and Core Measures. We were acknowledged nationally for exceeding patient’s
expectations....
We had to make some difficult decisions when the economy failed, but quick actions like delaying the replacement of our Family Medical Center in Copperopolis and looking at ways to save expenses still allowed us to proceed with our Digital Mammography project and a new Family Medical Center on the hospital campus. A healthy community is important and we invested heavily in health fairs, sponsorships and education so our residents can enjoy a healthy lifestyle. We recognize our kids are our future so our Teddy Bear Clinic, Health Career Fairs, and Summer Health Career Camp all provide awareness that health careers are great careers, right here in Calaveras County!
We hope you share in our enthusiasm. We look forward to even more next year!
Sincerely,
Feliciano Jiron
