Spin The Wheel and Help a Friend...Another Successful Event at The Copperopolis Town Square
Copperopolis, CA...The Copperopolis Town Square played host to another round of successful events on Saturday. Star 92.7 was live on location for Copperites to spin and win to enter their big $10,000 cash prize giveaway. The Square also had food, drinks and live music for all to enjoy.....
This day also marked a Fundraiser for Copperopolis's, Leslie Rabeneau. A lovely woman who is battling a very rare form of Lymphoma and is in desperate need of a Bone Marrow Transplant. The fundraiser included a car wash, food and drinks to raise money for her transplant.
Delta Blood Bank was on hand to register people to donate bone marrow for the full blown bone marrow drive to be held at the Copper Town Square as well, on September 12th. As we receive more information, we will pass it on to you our wonderful viewers.
You can also email Stephanie Burton at sbdesign@caltel.com or Charity Maness at charity_maness@yahoo.com, two good friends of Leslie's, or myself at kim@thepinetree.net with any questions you may have. Thanks to the gals from Copper along with many other community members are putting together these wonderful events for Leslie and her fight.
We are so blessed to live in such a caring heartfelt community... We are personally thankful each and every day!
"The need right now is a match for a bone marrow transplant, but there has been a bank account open in Leslie's name at Umpqua bank if you would like to contribute a monetary donation. You can speak with any teller, mention Leslie Rabeneau's Cancer Fund and they will gladly help you help Leslie." states Charity Maness.
This is one of those times when we know we can count on your our community to come together and possibly save a life!
