It's Time for Our Community to Come Together for A Bone Marrow Drive's For Leslie Rabeneau on September 12th and 20th!

Calaveras County, CA...Leslie Rabeneau, a young woman and long time resident of Copperopolis was diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive form of cancer. Leslie is a fighter and her courageous battle is not over yet. She has a wonderful husband and children who need her. She has been receiving Chemo therapy treatments at Standford Medical Center for months. She get's breaks in between where she goes home to Copper if healthy enough to be spend time with her precious family. Leslie is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant in order to continue this battle. At first doctors thought she could only use bone marrow of a family member with the same parents. Her lovely sister, Teri Burke of Arnold found out she was not a match....

This was devastating as Teri wanted top help her sister out more than anything. They have already lost their mother and another sister to cancer, and just found out their father has Stage 4 Kidney disease. There are no other siblings.

We are now asking for our community to come together for Leslie. I just spoke with Teri today and she gave us this update.... On Saturday August 15th there was a Fundraiser for Leslie to included a car wash, food, drinks to raise money for her transplant. Delta Blood Bank was on hand to register people to donate bone marrow.

The gals from Copper along with many other community members are putting together these wonderful events for Leslie and her fight.

We are so blessed to live in such a caring heartfelt community... I am personally thankful each and every day!

"The need right now is a match for a bone marrow transplant, but there has been a bank account open in Leslie's name at Umpqua bank if you would like to contribute a monetary donation. You can speak with any teller, mention Leslie Rabeneau's Cancer Fund and they will gladly help you help Leslie." states Charity Maness.
