FoCuS Announces They Are Offering A Number of Local Educational Opportunities During August and September....Next One Wednesday August 26th
Arnold, CA..... FoCuS is pleased to announce that it is offering a number of local educational opportunities during August and early September. FoCuS will sponsor two educational programs during August – one evening Sustainable Conversation (August 26 in Sonora), and one Sustainable Living Seminar (August 6 in Sonora). In early September, FoCuS will an additional two Sustainable Living Seminars (September 12 in Sonora).....

On August 6, Galen Weston will lead a two-hour seminar (5:30-7:30 pm) at his Bald Mountain Farm near Sonora, entitled “Planting Fall and Winter Crops & Seed Saving”
On August 26, Lesli Daniel and Gretchen Olsen will lead a two hour “Sustainable Conversation” (7:00 – 9:00 pm) on “Waste: Global, Regional and Local” at the Tuolumne County Ambulance and Fire Building, 18440 Striker Court, in Sonora.
On September 12, Marlys Bell will offer two separate workshops at her Columbia home: “Increasing Self-Reliance by Maximizing Resources in your Backyard” from 9:30-12:30, and “Eating from your Garden Year-Round” from 1:00 – 4:00.
