Traffic Stop Yields Meth and One Arrest~by Sgt. Ken Diaz
Tuolumne County, CA....While on routine patrol, Deputy Rivera saw a 2002 Dodge Minivan at the corner of Cherokee Rd and Tuolumne Rd North. The vehicle had a head lamp that was not working. Deputy Rivera stopped the vehicle and made contact with the occupants of the vehicle. The driver was identified as Guillen and the passenger identified himself as Miller. A Computer check showed that Miller was on Probation out of Stanislaus County for Narcotics Violations. .......
A search was conducted of the passengers’ compartment of the vehicle pursuant to the Probation conditions of Miller. Inside the vehicle at least two plastic baggie containing Methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe were found. In side the baggies there was approx. 4.2 grams of Methamphetamine.
Miller was arrested and booked in to the County Jail and Guillen was released at the scene.
