Vallecito, CA....The May 24, 2009, Twisted Oak Winery benefit dinner for Calaveras Big Trees Association has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 24, 2009 on Memorial Day Weekend at 6:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner will support CBTA in their ongoing commitment to provide interpretation of human and natural history at the park. Twisted Oak Winery, located at 4280 Red Hill Road, Vallecito, will feature a grilled chicken dinner, including wine for $35 per person. CBTA member volunteers will serve and clean-up at the event. Then join us on May 2nd for our first annual Rubber Chicken Roast! BBQ Roasted "Smart" Chicken with all of the fixins, along with plenty of Twisted Oak wine! Proceeds from this event benefit Calaveras Big Trees State Park and the Rubber Chicken National Forest. We'll be raffling off some pretty fabulous prizes (like a vertical of The Spaniard) - you won't want to miss this!...
