Foodie Tourism Workshop Deadline Extended!
What is foodie tourism? Leisure Travel driven by the desire to experience a destination's cuisines or culinary adventures. This includes farmers markets, winemaker dinners, learning about growing food, preparing food, pairing food, culinary tours, hands-on cooking classes, food/cooking related retail businesses and much more! The deadline to sign up for the Foodie Tourism Workshop has been extended until this Friday, April 24th. The event takes place April 29th at 2pm at the Culinary Center at Ironstone Vineyards. Cost is just $15 and it is sure to be well worth it! Brian Baker of Cultivar Marketing is currently conducting an assessment of Calaveras County and all the foodie opportunities we have here. He will present his findings, some case studies and will give us a direction to take our foodie offerings to the next level.
