He had many adventures in his life. After growing up in Garden Grove, CA, he served in the Army, spending time in Europe. After he was discharged from the Army, Steve found his true love, the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He worked on the Spicer Dam Project and worked for many years at the Mount Reba Ski Resort. He worked for the Vallecito Union School District since the mid 1990s in many different capacities.....

Steve enjoyed all life had to offer. He particularly loved outdoor adventures in the mountains such as hiking, skiing and camping. Although Steve enjoyed these activities, nothing made him happier than to be fishing, especially with his beloved son Brett.
He is survived not only by his son Brett, but his mother, Lydia Edwards, brothers Chris Edwards, Allen Edwards and his wife and children, Bruce Edwards and his children, and sister Janice Anderson and her children and grandchildren.
