Final “Cash for College” Workshop on February 10th
Columbia College’s financial aid department is rounding out its “Cash for College” season with a final evening workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 10. The workshop will be held at Starbucks Coffee in The Junction Shopping Center, located at 13761 Mono Way in East Sonora. There is no charge to attend and the event will be conducted on a drop-in basis between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m.....
“It’s a real hands-on activity where parents and students can come by and receive personal assistance in filing their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online,” said Michelle Vidaurri, a college financial aid technician. “Those, who are intending to come to the workshop, should go to our college financial aid web page for a checklist of documents that will be needed for the FAFSA processing. It also has a list of our other future financial aid activities that will be conducted on our campus during business hours.”
