PLACE: 99 Water Street, Markleeville, CA, 96120 ( Behind the Courthouse in the Board of
Supervisors Chambers).
Notice is hereby given that the Alpine Board of Supervisors will hold public hearing on the following
item:
The Alpine County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 10:00
a.m. at the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers in the County Administration Building (99 Water Street,
Markleeville) to consider the following item:
Alpine County General Plan Land Use Element –Proposed amendments to the Alpine County
General Plan and a Negative Declaration for the proposed amendments. The proposal consists of
amendments to the Land Use Element of the Alpine County General Plan in three major policy areas –
community character, adequate public facilities and growth management. A fourth component –growth
management implementation – is also described. This fourth component outlines the general approach
for a proposed growth management ordinance that is separate from the General Plan (Applicant: Alpine
County; Planning Case #2006-01).
