At this time, an 82 year old Groveland resident was driving a 1990 Acura Integra, eastbound on State Route 120 east of Smith Station Road at an undetermined speed. Tudosa was distracted as he approached a right curve in the roadway for the intersection with Smith Station Road and diverted his attention from the roadway. During his inattention, he allowed the Nissan to travel over the solid yellow centerline, and completely into the eastbound lane, directly into the Acura's path of travel. Tudosa then noticed he was no longer in the westbound lane and steered abruptly to the right.
