The 15th Annual Calaveras Redskin Golf Tournament was postponed due to poor weather conditions in Valley Springs. The Tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 30th at La Contenta Golf Course in Valley Springs. The tournament is hosted by Calaveras Baseball and all proceeds benefit the baseball, softball and football programs at Calaveras High School.
The tournament will be utilizing a new format this year called a Shamble. It is a combination of scramble and individual play. All four members will hit their tee shot, the best shot will be chosen and then each player will play their ball into the hole. The best two gross scores of the team will be counted. The tournament will feature long drive and closest to the pins contests, a raffle and dinner.
We have plenty of room for your foursome or we can take singles and will match them up in other groups. We have hole sponsors available and are accepting raffle prizes.
