| Calaveres High School "Planning Your :Life After High School" |
Calaveras High School students can explore their options for the future by attending Planning Your Life After High School Night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Mike Flock Gym. Students and parents can get information on colleges, trade schools and the military, plus learn about programs that train students for a trade while they attend CHS.
Representatives from California state universities, community colleges, trade schools, regional occupational programs and the military will be on hand to present important information about their programs. The event will give students and parents an opportunity to get answers to questions they may have and explore options for the future. Attendees will be able to hear vital information about financial aid and scholarships for colleges and vocational schools.
Calaveras High ROP representatives will give out information about how to train for a career in the fields of technology, law enforcement, medicine, automotive and cosmetology at CHS. The event is open to all CHS students, their parents and any interested community members. For more information call Terri Tanner in the CHS Career Center at 754-1811 ext. 5313.
