All Day Copper Town Square "Pumpkin Junction!"(Hours Enclosed)
Join the Copper Town Square for some fun events with the Ghosts and Goblins for a spooky time to help raise funds for Copperopolis Elementary from October 11th thru October 31st. "Pumpkin Junction" opens October 11th. Get your pumpkins, decorations, & pumpkin yummy treats! Proceeds go to the PTC - Parent Teachers Club. Hours: Mon - Fri 4pm to 8pm Sat - 9am to 8pm Sun - 10am to 5pm..


SCARECROW AUCTION & LASAGNA FEED

THURSDAY NIGHT OCT 23RD
5 pm to 8pm

Each class at Copperopolis Elementary School has created a SCARECROW and they will be sold to the highest bidders! They will be on display for you to preview beginning October 11th. Supervisor Russ Thomas will be our auctioneer, so be ready to raise those hands high to help the school! The Lasagna Feed is sponsored by Panini's Italian Grill -Opening this month and
100% of the proceeds will be donated to Copperopolis Elementary. Adults $6.00 Children $3.00. Danny Burton our local musician will be here to entertain you. This is a great way to support our kids. Bring your family!

COSTUME PARADE & CONTEST FOR ALL AGES on Saturday October 25th at 3pm.

IF YOU WANT TO MARCH IN THE PARADE YOU WILL NEED TO LINE UP BEHIND THE TOWN HALL AT 2:00 TO BE JUDGED

If you have a special vehicle, or float, please call Linda Stefanick to arrange your line up area. We welcome all entries, 785-9700.

COME TO TOWN SQUARE AND WATCH OUR FIRST COSTUME PARADE! Bring a chair or just take a seat on the grass. We will have games to play and some other contests to get you in the spirit of Halloween. Everyone from tiny tots to ghoulish grandmas and grandpas will get a chance to show of their best Halloween attire at the Trick or Treat Street Parade. The contest is divided into four age categories:0-5, 6-9, 10-13, and 14-adult as well as a category for dogs. A panel of local real estate agents will judge the costumes.
Awards will be given in the gazebo following the parade.

THURSDAY NIGHT MOVIE - OCTOBER 30TH...7:30pm following Music in the Parks. (we will start the music at 5:30)To get you ready for Halloween. "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" Bring your chairs and blankets to Town Square and have some old fashioned family fun. Parks and Rec is putting on the show and will be selling movie munchies for your viewing pleasure!

TRICK OR TREAT STREET HALLOWEEN NIGHT ~ OCT 31ST...The local community has come together to provide a fun place for our kids to trick or treat. The windows are decorated and each participant will be here with their treats 5 pm to 8pm on Halloween!

Beginning Oct 11th you will be able to stroll the streets and vote on your favorite decorations. Awards will be given out after the parade on Oct 25th. Come and preview the great efforts from your community leaders!

"The Jukes" will be here in costume to perform beginning at 7pm to entertain the adult goblins and ghosts. So come enjoy the spirit of Halloween in costume if you dare. Wine and beer will be available for sale.

Local artists will be lining the narrow streets and lanes of tiny Mokelumne Hill to paint outdoors on the spot from an easel and a nearby set of paints. The public may walk, drive, park and watch how different artists spontaneously create works using the historic gold-mining backdrop of Mokelumne Hill as their subjects. Join this motorcycle ride to help raise money to support programs for families with autistic children. Come eat some food and listen to the band "Mojo Kings." There is a jump house and snow cone machine for the kids. $20 donation for single riders and $35 donation for couples. Admission at Hogan Observation Point. Horse and Barrel to host their 1st Annual Harvest Festival this Saturday October 11th from 12 noon til' the campfire goes out at 2000 Nickerson Lane in Murphys.
