Youth Bike Safety Rodeo...Next Class Saturday, April 30th! |

Welcome to Calaveras County Bike Safety Education! Calaveras County is providing bicycle safety training courses for youth who reside within the County. Bicycle safety training sessions will be conducted at eight locations on four Saturdays in April and May, 2011.Funding for this program is provided by a Transportation Enhancement (TE), American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) grant. This is a free training offered to all Calaveras residents, a helmet will be provided at the completion of the session....

Angels Camp, CA...In the late evening hours of March 31, 2011 Officers from the Angels Camp Police Department were called to the Rite Aid store located in the 200 block of S Main St. for a theft report. Angels Camp Police Officers were contacted by Loss Prevention Agents working for Rite Aid who stated that they had Pharmacist....

| Angels Camp, CA....On April 6, 2011 at approximately 2:20 am, a Calaveras Sheriff’s Department Deputy and an Angels Camp Police Officer made contact with a female that appeared to be in distress as she was walking on South Main Street in Angels Camp. The female advised that she had just been raped at a friend’s residence located in the 1000 block of Tuolumne Avenue by an unknown assailant. ..... |
