White Pines, CA...November 25, 2016 at 6:30pm we will be holding the 2nd annual Christmas in White Pines Parade of Lights. Join us as we light up Blagen Rd and enjoy the parade of light floats. There will be a large Christmas tree lit up in the park at White Pines.
Jackson, CA...It is almost everyone's favorite time of year, Christmas, and with Christmas come Santa Patrol!!! The Jackson Fire Department along with Santa and all of his helpers will be visiting all of the neighborhoods in Jackson yet again. Starting December 15th, for 4 nights we will be patrolling the streets, bringing joy and candy canes to all the good boys and girls of Jackson. Santa will begin his rounds starting around 6:00 pm. We will also be collecting canned food for the Interfaith Food Bank of Amador County to help those in need.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 4" of new snow overnight brings us up to 10" for the storm total. Partly sunny skies are expected today as the system moves East. Thanksgiving day looks to be sunny and clear with temps in the mid 40's and then a return of snow Friday night and thru the weekend. Continued unsettled weather will push into the beginning of next week as the active pattern continues. Winter is not too far off and we're getting ready to share our "pure mountain fun" ethos.

Sutter Creek, CA...Tickets are still available for Foothill Conservancy’s December 2 film screening of DamNation. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2015 Wildlife Film Festival, DamNation tells the story of diverse groups of people and communities coming together to remove obsolete dams in order to
restore native fisheries, outdoor recreation, local economies and protect tribal culture. The film starts at 7:30 pm at the Sutter Creek Theatre on Main Street, Sutter Creek.
