San Andreas, CA...Calaveras High School Drama is delighted to present Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Cinderella," the first full-length musical to take the stage at the Calaveras Performing Arts Center in over three years. The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, the hearts of children and adults alike still soar when the slipper fits. Jillian Zahniser appears as the title character, Jared Bisbikis is Prince Topher, Madalyn Myers is Crazy Marie, Brooke Wooldridge is Madame, Jacob Young is Sebastian, Madeleine Hedger is Charlotte, Amaya Halepota is Gabrielle, Jordan Hoyopatubbi is Jean-Michel, and Colton Minehart is Lord Pinkleton. The ensemble includes Anthony Barci, Macy Liotta, Talina Landry, Samantha Leach, Ramon Marquez, Kathryn Frazier, Cleo Osgood, Kyra Allemand, Timothy Kelly, Marco Ortega, and Irene Melendez. Ann Mazzaferro directs, with Mason Anderson as Stage Manager and Cyndie Klorer as Technical Director.
