Plus, pepper jellies, holiday jams, including a new Hot Pepper Peach Jam and Fig Pomegranate and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties to add some flavor to your holiday spreads. Also: NEW popcorn dust (oh yeah, Mushroom Popcorn has been restocked as well) AND after a long wait, Bada Bing Bourbon-soaked cherries are back. Those will definitely make any cocktail better. (Lessons, Rentals, Etc. not included) It’s a bonus day in our 22/23 Winter Season Schedule for everybody! Hey Good People! A beautiful sunny day is ahead with a high of 28F and lite NE winds. Dry weather is in the mix for the next week as ridging makes its way back into the area. The week will see daytime highs barely cresting 30F and night time lows remaining in the low 20’s or so. Despite the dry weather, the cold temps should keep the snow soft for the coming weekend as we look to bring the backside online and possibly more.

Studio 4 Dance Theater Presents “The Holiday Showcase 2022” at the Bret Harte Theater

Angels Camp, CA...A Festive Array of Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary Dances, Including Beloved Traditional Nutcracker Pieces December 15-17th”. Dancers from Studio 4 School of Dance will showcase their dance talent and various dance styles at the Holiday Showcase 2022. This year’s production dance styles will include jazz, contemporary, hip hop and ballet. Studio 4 School of Dance (S4SD) and Studio 4 Dance Theater (S4DT) have a long history in Calaveras County of offering the community a glorious holiday production. In 2019, S4DT presented their 11th Annual “The Nutcracker”. This December, the community will once again be able to enjoy select Nutcracker pieces at the Holiday Showcase 2022.
Stanislaus National Forest Seasonal Road Closures Begin Tomorrow!

Sonora, CA...Seasonal closures of some National Forest System roads and trails that are designated for motor vehicle use pursuant to 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 212.51 begin on December 15 and will remain in effect through April 14, 2023.
Angels Camp, CA...Utica and the City of Angels Camp are inviting the community to join us at Bret Harte Theater at 6 p.m. Monday Jan. 9 for the premiere of "Water: Our Gold". This video tells the fascinating, 170-year story of the Utica Water and Power Authority dating back to the Gold Rush in 1852. Residents of Angels Camp and Murphys will be amazed at the incredible journey their water takes.
