Posted by: John_Hamilton on 03/20/2012 10:33 AM

Arnold, CA...On Sunday morning our small community dealt with a tragic death involving a third grade student at Hazel Fischer Elementary. We would like to extend our thanks to Kathy Northington and Robin Searway of the Calaveras County Office of Education for putting together our emergency crisis team. This experienced team was quick to respond and highly professional. We also appreciate the ongoing support of the Ebbetts Pass Fire Department which brought their therapy dogs to the campus. All of this was made possible by the dedicated and compassionate staff at Hazel Fischer under the leadership of Brett Loring as they worked together to provide a calm and consistent environment for all students....
