SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans Available to California Small Businesses |

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Small, nonfarm businesses in 30 California counties are now eligible to apply for low‑interest federal disaster loans from the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA). “These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by the drought that began on January 1, 2012, in the following primary counties,” announced Alfred E. Judd, Director of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West....

Sacramento – Senator Tom Berryhill (R-Modesto) issued the following statement today on the Governor’s 2013-2014 Budget: “California isn’t out of the woods yet so I am glad to hear the Governor is committed to keeping a tight leash on spending. At a glance I like the concept of eliminating education categoricals and sending money directly to classrooms but as we all know, the devil is in the details. Central Valley communities have been particularly hard hit by prisoner realignment so I remain concerned about how he plans on addressing that in the budget.”

Arnold, CA...We are looking for 500 families to bring your offspring and your jobs here! Why? Great Schools, Lower Home Costs, Great Communities, 35 Wineries, Snow Skiing, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Cross Country Skiing, Golf, Concerts, Snowmobiling, Water Skiing, Fishing, Wine Tasting and of course Frog Jumping. To top it off is what we don't have...traffic lights. There are only 4 traffic lights (Updated...I forgot about the one between Bret Harte and the parking lot on Murphys Grade Road) in all of Calaveras County...

Jackson, CA...Jackson CHP is reporting a major injury accident in Amador County on Shenandoah Rd. It's a SUV vs a Mercedes and one party is pinned in and one has a broken arm. Lanes are blocked so please expect delays and use caution in the area...

Angels Camp - Sonora and Mariposa, CA...We have extended our holiday promo due to a shortage of available iPhones! We have heard a lot of frustration over the shortage of iPhones...we feel it too! So we will continue to allow our current customers to upgrade up to one year early and we'll continue to buy-out new customers early term fees (up to $200) until we receive our next shipment of iPhones. Now the big question...when are we getting them?! We really wish we knew. For those of you that don't believe it's all about the iPhone, we have some cool new Android phones in our stores too. Traffic Update...Overturned Vehicle on Hwy 88 |

Ham's Station, CA...Crews are working an overturned Toyota Pickup on Hwy 88 near Bear River Road. The vehicle is into a snowbank and an ambulance has been dispatched but it appears it may be non-injury. Please use caution and expect delays in the area....
